About our Kiwanis club

The Kiwanis Club of Batavia Geneva Area is a local service organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and strengthening our community. We proudly serve Batavia, Geneva, North Aurora, and the surrounding Fox Valley area through hands-on service projects, fundraising, and youth leadership programs.

We are generous with our time, creative with our ideas, and passionate about making a difference. Most importantly, we believe that service should be meaningful and fun. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, ages, and professions, but we are united by a shared commitment to helping kids thrive.

Locally, we focus on the needs of our community. Globally, we are part of Kiwanis International, which takes on large-scale challenges such as fighting disease, addressing poverty, and improving child health and safety around the world.

A Century of Service to Children

For more than 100 years, Kiwanis has created opportunities for children to be curious, safe, healthy, and supported, no matter where they live. When children are given the chance to learn, experience, dream, grow, and succeed, entire communities are strengthened.

Our club proudly carries that legacy forward by investing our time, energy, and resources into programs and partnerships that make a lasting difference for children and families right here at home.

The Kiwanis Mission & Vision

Mission
Kiwanis empowers communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children.

Vision
Kiwanis strives to be a positive influence in communities worldwide, so that one day, all children will wake up in communities that believe in them, nurture them, and provide the support they need to thrive.

The Kiwanis Club of Batavia Geneva Area fulfills this mission by leading and supporting community service projects, youth leadership programs, and fundraising initiatives that directly benefit children in our local area.

Service Is at the Heart of What We Do

Service is the foundation of every Kiwanis club. Across the world, Kiwanis members lead approximately 150,000 service projects each year and raise nearly $100 million to support communities, families, and children.

Our club focuses on changing the world by serving children, one child in our community at a time. To expand our impact, we proudly sponsor and support Kiwanis Service Leadership Programs, including:

  • K-Kids for elementary students
  • Builders Club for middle school students
  • Key Club for high school students

These programs help develop the next generation of leaders through service, character building, and civic engagement.

Our Leadership

The Kiwanis Club of Batavia Geneva Area is guided by a dedicated volunteer board that leads our service, fundraising, and community efforts:

  • President: Angela Cudmore
  • Past President: Janene Albrecht
  • Secretary: Vanessa Fania
  • Treasurer: Jamie Saam
  • Board Members at Large:
    • Deb Stob
    • Keith Eakins
    • Pamela Tuggle

Our board members work collaboratively to ensure our club remains welcoming, effective, and focused on making a meaningful impact.
